“Amazing experience! The workshop begins with an introduction to the history of coffee in Colombia before moving to the tasting itself. We explored three different brewing methods: the Chemex, which highlights fruity and complex notes; the V60, which brings out brightness and body; and finally, the Hario TCA-5 siphon, offering roundness and smoothness with honey aromas. Throughout the session, the flavors unfolded into a rich palette ranging from fresh fruits to chocolate, with sweet and floral undertones. The coffee was excellent, and the surprise at the end added a warm, memorable touch. An enriching discovery that I wholeheartedly recommend!”

“Our rum tasting was the perfect first night in Cartagena! The location had amazing views of the old fort, and the tasting space was cool, clean, and modern. Our tasting guide was incredible fun, lively, and knowledgeable. He walked us through all types of various Colombian rums, explained them and their significance, and paired them perfectly with Colombian chocolates. At the end, we got to make our own cocktails and enjoy them while the host gave us great advice on our trip in Cartagena! We would absolutely recommend to anybody looking for a fun evening! TIP: eat beforehand, there’s a decent amount of rum!”

“The trip was a lot of fun. We loved our experience at Islabela Island. The food, the drinks, the beach, and the service were great. The unfortunate part was that our boat to get to the island keep on shutting off. It took much longer to get to our destination as it kept on happening every 15 minutes. It will take the crew many tries to get the boat going. This was a bit frustrating and unfortunate as it took away from our time at the island.”

“I absolutely loved this! This experience is both a coffee tasting (of various artisanal shops around the old city) and a verbal lesson on the history and cultivation process of coffee in colombia. I thought it was a very all-encompassing experience that left me with a far greater understanding of coffee and colombian culture.
